I do not write reviews, but yesterday I had Amanda cut my hair. Back when I was a teenager I had a haircut horror story where I had long beautiful hair and a different salon I went to back then messed my hair up and I had to cut off all of my hair. I had trust issues and haven't been to a salon in years. But Amanda did such a phenomenal job in cutting my hair she made me feel comfortable and worry free and she is so down to earth, I absolutely loved her! The atmosphere at Medusa is awesome and everyone is very welcoming, sweet and genuine. If anyone ever asks me about salon recommendations I will always recommend Medusa and I will always recommend for them to go to Amanda....read full review
The salon itself is very aesthetically beautiful, however, the hair stylists there are even better. Marguerite does a superb job coloring and cutting my hair. She makes the whole experience wonderful because she is so nice and treats you like you’re just hanging out with the girls the entire time. She listens to your needs and knows how to adjust the session to give you exactly what you want. Amanda washes my hair between coloring and treatment and is very sweet and personable and easy to talk to.
I called ahead for a walk in and I got Shelby as my hairstylist. I was a little stressed as it was a last minute type thing I decided but i was happy to find they do take walk ins! Shelby was very sweet and gave me exactly what I was asking for! I showed her a TikTok I saw of a "Shaggy Bob" cut and she did great! She took her time and checked in on me often. I love her attention to detail! I don't have a before picture but these are the after and I absolutely love it! I get non stop compliments everywhere I go. I don't have a regular stylist so I will for sure be coming back to her! I was also able to do a quick consult on a split dye with her as well I'm super excited for it just have to save up! The overall vibe of the shop is so cute! I brought home a plant baby from the shop after my haircut! They have very nice pots, plants, oils, incense, etc. that you can buy along with hair products of course. If you're looking for a clean, professional, good vibes and lovely people this is it!!!
