Gateway Bulverde Clinic is praised for its wonderful staff and excellent location. Reviewers appreciate the friendly and humorous service from staff members, especially during appointment scheduling. However, there are concerns about the accuracy of operating hours, as online information can be unreliable, and some patients have experienced confusion about lunch breaks and late openings. I started seeing my PCM here in 2022, my first visit was not what I expected. Decided I would only come in if I had to. My visit in 2023 I realized they are only given 20/25 minutes to their patients. I'm here today a Wednesday and it happens to be a training day. My appointment was set for 9:15, that's when it opens. Had my vital check and it's now 9:45, no DOC yet. I expected to be in and out by 10:00, that would allow me to be back at work by 11:00.
When I called in to schedule and appointment Ms. Ellen was the sweetest to me over the phone, she had a great sense of humor, and she made making and appointment so easy <3 LOVED HER
I think the location is excellent. The staff is very good, and in response to other comments, the staff can only work with what they have. We have had far more 4-star success at this location. I do agree that the leadership/ commander should provide enough personnel to cover down during lunch. Again, I think the GBC does a Great Job!
