They do not compete.They are not the same kind of store as your home depot. This is a super relaxing atmosphere.They have everything in small volume. And you don't have to self check out

Attended a yearly event @ Five Oaks Hardware and had a great time. I really enjoyed the shopping experience with knowledgeable employees close by for questions and no sales pressure. Thanks to Ace for providing the level of service to keep us coming back.

The yellow spade looking one I returned to Lowe's, was junk. The red one I saw a commercial land scaper using one very similar. It had a wood handle and didn't swivel at all. Works great, and was half the price of the one from Lowe's .
