DOES ANYONE KNOW IF DR BLANKENSHIP IS STILL IN SAN ANGELO? Daughter goes to ASU, went and had her eyes checked at Caplan, ordered SIX MONTHS of contact lenses and never received them. When I went by there, the sign said they were permanently closed and the location was cleared out! Help!!
**update : after I made a post on Facebook, Dr Blankenship contacted me directly. My daughter’s contacts were initially returned to their office as undeliverable. They re-shipped them and we have since received the contacts. They were very responsive and it was handled quickly. Dr Blankenship is in the process of building a new building and for the meanwhile is back... read full review

They did take my insurance, but on exam which according to my insurance should have been ,no charge. They charged a co pay of $35,which they shouldn't have. Had a $350 insurance paid on glasses which frames were $150, so that made bifocal with lines $200. I paid $20 out of pocket. When I picked them up,I ask if they provided a case,she said $5. I won't go back.

I had a great first experience at Caplan. The office is nice and it’s clean, and the staff is friendly. The doctor was kind, knowledgeable, and had me in and out of my eye exam very quickly. I would recommend!
