J-Canine Pet Resort

I scouted 14 different pet hotels, resorts, and kennels all around the Houston area before finding this gem of a resort, J-canine. We boarded our nearly 2 year old German Shepard mix Ace Jacks here while my (now husband) and I went back to our hometown in Connecticut to get married over this past weekend. It was the first time I have ever been away from my pup for more than an overnight trip since we adopted him at 12 weeks old. Needless to say, I was a total wreak. The staff at J-canine answered every silly question I had, including how tall the doggy doors were haha. To be up front, it's been a while since we used them. To start, we boarded our cats here regularly. One was a tuxedo cat and the other a bengal-tabby mix. The bengal was a cat-cat, a plain ol' cat, nothing but cat, and J-Canine "got" him. I appreciated that they understood the old man very much.Our dog was a different story. She was a MinPin-Lab mix, picked up as a stray at about 6 months of age. It was during her stay she decided to become a junk yard dog. It was strongly hinted that she might kinda, sorta not ever be welcome back. Very reliable place! People who work there are mature and responsible. I boarded my puppy for 2.5 weeks, including board and train program with amazing Martine, and it was a wonderful expirience for all of us. It is the first boarding facility my puppy liked ( we tried a few)
