Absolutely amazing experience. My stylist, Jamie, and her coworker, Mindy, had me laughing the majority of the time. I never like going in to get my hair cut because to me it's a chore, something else on the "To Do" list along with picking up the dry cleaning and buying grocery bags. I'd only been to Bazooka Charlie's once before and had a good experience however I normally have been going to a stylist out in Flower Mound. Saturday I didn't feel like driving so I called in and managed to get the last appointment of the day for Jamie and I'm glad I did. She listened to what I wanted for my hair, and gave some advice as well. I told her to do what she thought best, and I really love how my hair turned out. We've all had those hair sessions where you don't click with your stylist and it's awkward chit chat. With Jamie, you feel like you've known her for a while and pretty soon you're making jokes. Anyway, the point is, if you're reading this, you probably need a haircut and you're already taking the first step of getting help - so walk through that door, and ask for Jamie. Thank me later.
This is a super cool shop. Very laid back environment. I have now been 3 times and will continue to drive from Mckinney (about 100mi round trip) because there is no distance I wouldn't drive for Danielle- the only person allowed to touch my hair. I have difficult hair- cowlicks, widows peaks, very thick, etc and I typically have a challenging request, currently a mohawk. Danielle is the only person to successfully wrangle those obstacles (and my inherent pickiness) and has masterfully for a decade.
