I was out running errands with my mom a couple days ago and on a whim while walking by towards the Academy decided to walk in to see if I could get a haircut. The gentleman at the front (I didn't get his name but was super nice) found a way to work me into the schedule - and Angie very generously was able to find time to give me a haircut. She was so friendly, and I told her I was looking to get all my old highlights cut out of my hair. Not only did she do just that, but she gave me a beautiful cut that was really healthy and very suiting for my curly hair. She also gave me a treatment which brought out my natural curls. She told me she specializes in curly hair as well. She was so funny, warm and fun to talk to, and an amazing stylist. I will definitely plan to book an appointment with her again.

“OMG! My usual nail salon was down to 1 person, that only did pedicures. I was ready for a mani and pedi, so I did not want to wait until another day. I felt overcharged, didn’t clean my previous acrylic powder properly but charged for full amount her reason was because my nail was thin but on other fingers it could be clean normally, trust me I’ve been to SO MANY from high end to random nail salons in dallas. I also didn’t know they charge for “shape”. I thought my shape and length was normal (not extra long not crazy) probably for other people is acceptable but just a no in my opinion. Gave 15% tips and won’t come back.“
