I assume that the woman I met was Kim because she was there when I dropped off the clothes and when I picked them up. But whoever the Asian lady was, she wasn't rude per se but it just comes off not as a smooth, verbal transaction. "YOU PAY ME NOW!" is what she kept telling me. I'm like, I don't think she understands how that comes off. Could be a language barrier or what but take that as you may. But anyway, I needed two patch jobs and a zipper repaired and the work wasn't bad at all. It's a little pricey, but the work wasn't bad. But what I also don't like is her hours of operation state that she starts at 9 AM and both times that I have tried to drop these clothes off and pick them up, she's never there at 9 AM. I think that's very unprofessional and she makes no apologies for it because it's her business but this will probably be the last time I go there because if I actually need to be somewhere at a certain time and you're not open when you say you're open then that's unacceptable. Again, the work is not bad but I need someone a little more dependable.
Brought a bridesmaid dress in that was too tight 10 days before the wedding. She was so kind and helpful dress was ready well before I needed to leave and was perfect! You couldn’t tell it had been altered. Was able to attend the wedding and feel confident, thank you!
Kim is my go to tailor and has been since I moved to pearland years ago. She is a whiz with a sewing machine and has been able to transform pieces I thought I’d never be able to wear over the years. There is nothing Kim hasn’t been able to do. I now live on the north side of Houston an hour away and still drive down to pearland to use her. She is also a wonderful and kind human.
