To ALL my upcoming brides looking for your makeup artist and hair person, I have the girl for you. I just had my wedding yesterday and Erika Lee with Unforgettable Beauty was my MUA. I randomly picked her off a suggested Facebook advertisement and was immediately in love with her work, style and personality. We just clicked. October 4th, I had engagement photos. Erika Lee got me in, did a beautiful job however, my eyes would NOT cooperate. They kept tearing upwards (weird right?!?) and taking off ALL the eye makeup. We were at it for 2.5 hours removing and reapplying.. Eventually i had to leave to make it to my photos on time.. She reached out next day and stated she did some research, asked a few other MUA and invited me back to her studio (located in Pasadena) for a complimentary eye trial. 2nd round went better, she made notes and wrote down that certain things irritated my eyes. I had some concerns about my eyebrows, she was quick with solutions and adjustments to provide me with the look i was going for. Throughout the few months prior to wedding she reached out here and there to see how my eyes were doing and if i seen the optometrist, etc. Day of wedding, OMG. She went above and beyond. I know many brides on here vouche for their MUA amd other vendors and I know Im just another review but when i say trust me, please TRUST ME. Chosing Erika Lee to be your MUA will be the BEST decision you make. She made sure to take good care of my eyes, made sure i had a drink in my hand and food in my belly. She assisted the photographer after getting me picture perfect, assisted the venue coordinator getting everyone where they needed to be, running to grab bouquets, fixing my dress- Everything that wasnt her job, she stepped up WITH OUT asking, to make my life easier. At the end of the night, she wrote me a BEAUTIFUL note inside the cutest card amd gifted me with the cutest mug. Shes deserves more than 5 stars and i can not wait to hire her again. I HIGHLY recommend her.. She has her own studio located in Pasadena and also travels for a small fee. You will NOT regret it. Trust!!!
