While I was originally hopeful for this doctor because of reviews and stuff, they stopped listening to me the second they found out im trans nonbinary. I was severely sick with a cold and needed to start a medical leave cause im immunocompromised and had already been out of work a week and they force us to use fmla as our sick leave. The website had pricing info for fmla and paperwork stuff but there was a sign in the exam room that said they stopped doing it back in 2022. Dr. Harbison got that info after my initial exam and finding out I was trans and tried to send me to a cardiologist. I have to be honest, I have not seen a doctor in 20ish years, so very nervous! Dr. Harbison made me feel very comfortable. We are working on my issues, and I am very confident in her diagnosis. Dr Harbison listened to my requests, let me explain my situation and I will be returning any time I need a doctor.
I usually get really anxious at doctor’s visits, but Dr. Harbison’s clear communication and reassurance throughout the visit really helped calm my nerves. She and the front office ladies were very kind and answered all my questions related to my visit and insurance!
