About Whitewater Amphitheater
Whitewater Amphitheater is a popular outdoor music venue located in the Texas Hill Country along the Guadalupe River. It hosts many well-known artists, providing a unique and intimate concert experience under the stars for a diverse crowd of locals and tourists. The venue offers various seating and standing areas, with refreshments available at the bar and restrooms on site. The layout is praised as beautiful and great, with good sound quality that enhances the concert experience. The parking lot can be crowded, and since it’s often too small for all 5,000 guests, many visitors choose to park elsewhere and walk to the venue. Attendees recommend arriving early to secure close parking and a good spot, especially since the sun goes down behind the stage hours before sunset. The venue is outdoors and can be hot, so visitors often take drinks in the roadie but are not allowed to bring them inside, as security will frisk cowboy boots and other belongings. The area around the venue is mostly rocks, gravel, and dirt, so wearing sandals is not advised. Food and drinks are described as good and fast, but also expensive. The bar can be busy, but there are enough staff to manage it. Some areas, like VIP seats on the side and back, are available, though they may not feel as exclusive as expected. Overall, Whitewater Amphitheater is considered a great place to see a show, with a nice layout, good sound, and a lively outdoor atmosphere.
Great concert venue with worthy artists. Come out and enjoy the fresh atmosphere and live music. Staff is always friendly and I appreciate there is enough space for all the patrons to enjoy themselves without feeling claustrophobic. Definitely a favorite spot. Wish there were more events on the calendar.
Fantastic venue, good layout for General Admission and the staff went above and beyond.
Nothing rained on our parade for Randy Rogers Band! The best outside venue with the best concerts, and management! Always a great time!
