I’ve been struggling finding a good stylist and I went and got a haircut from Katie and she completely nailed what I asked for. One of the best haircuts of my life. Highly recommend Katie and The Refinery.
Today was my 1st time coming in. My stylist/barber name was Alexis. I showed her a photo and we chatted for a min or so to ensure she knew what I was looking for; then she went to work! I am not the type to chit-chat much, and she matched my vibes and focused on the cut. She was very meticulous and informed me every step of the way. It was a very pleasant experience. The environment was very neat and ambient temp regulated well. I have fine hair so not the easiest to cut, but she knew how to handle my hair type. I will definitely be coming back. As a first-time mullet recipient, I was initially apprehensive but left the salon feeling fantastic, thanks to Ali's expertise. Despite my limited ideas, she found a variation that suited my preferences, thoroughly explaining each step and engaged in a great conversation.
