I’ve enjoyed every visit with this talented woman! I have never lived in the same city as she does so I travel to see her. She is worth it! She’s knowledgeable about working with hair colors and keeping my mane healthy with the right products and routines.
Stormy is such a beautiful soul. She has been able to transform my hair into the beautiful natural curls. every time I go in for a cut she knows exactly what my Hair needs
I wasn’t going to leave a review because I don’t like to mess with people’s livelihood but after being ghosted I felt an honest review with photos should be available. I came for a color and haircut and everything was going great. However, after completing the haircut, blow dry and style she cut off a large chunk of hair right by my ears. My hair is mid back length and the hairs cut are like above my chin. When I expressed my concern as to why she did it she said, “oh I have these little face framing hairs, it’s really going to elevate your up do” well I tried not to panic and when I left the salon my color looked great and my hair was curled and looked ok. Once I pulled my hair back I saw what was done and YIKES 😬 I sent a message with photos asking if it could be evened out or like how to style this and almost a week later have yet to get a response. I suppose she just agrees it’s jacked up or maybe she just does not care. The lack of response just screams unprofessionalism and I’m disappointed. I’ve got two babies and pulling my hair up and out of my face was extensively discussed during my appointment as small children tend to pull hair and spit up etc. If I had wanted her hair cut as she put it I would have asked for that. On top of an unwanted haircut it’s not at all even either. I just keep reminding myself it’s going to grow back and that people with alopecia or going through chemo would love to have my hair even with this bad haircut. But point of the review is you won’t get what you ask for, you’ll get what she thinks you need. In my case I got “Payos” - that’s those side curls you see on Orthodox Jewish men 😩😅 Yay me.
