Amanda is my girl and I couldn't be more pleased with her ability to transform hair into something amazing, while explaining to you exactly why she is doing what she does during your cut/color. She made a return customer out of me on day 1! I came to her with BLACK hair that I had used boxed dye on a while back and I wanted to try to lighten it up some. She took on the challenge and not only gave me the (realistic) color (I say that because when you're trying to lighten black hair you have to be realistic on how light you can go first time around) I asked for, but kept my hair from getting dried out. Very, very happy with my experience with Amanda and the whole salon.

Amanda Cooper is the BEST!!!The 1st time I came to Amanda my hair was past my waist,I had not had anybody touch my hair in about 7 years and if course I was nervous. From the start Amanda made me feel comfortable and before we were done I had placed my hair in her hands and said to do whatever. I was NOT disappointed!! My hair was gorgeous!! It completely changed how I felt. I made another appointment last week and again she went above and beyond and if course my hair came out better then I could have imagined. There are not enough stars on this page to give to her!! So go see Amanda at the Look in Mt Pleasant Texas. If you have to go out of your way or right down the road it is totally worth it!! You can't turn Shrek into Prince Charming in a couple of hours but she will dang sure try!!

Amanda is AMAZING. She is flat out honest with you about what is possible for your hair situation. If you come in with badly boxed hair dye, she's going to let you know what is and is not possible in one sitting because she cares about your hair HEALTH. Hello? You can't expect to damage your hair beyond recognition then expect any hair stylist to "fix" the damage you caused it by trying to box dye your hair over and over again without a professionals help. Amanda has been cutting (feminine pixie) and coloring (with henna) my hair for years. She is fantastic, I have followed her since she was a student at NTCC in the Cosmetology program. She has multiple professors on her clientele list including myself and her former cosmetology professor (that's a huge sign of respect when your cosmetology professor comes to YOU for a haircut regularly). I highly recommend her and her new location at the Look is perfect for her. She has a loyal clientele that appreciates her real talk about your hair health and styling.
