I have a personal friend that is currently being denied a claim, even after the insurance agent and the insurance adjuster okayed the euthanizing of a horse verbally over the phone to the vet. After the horse was euthanized, they came back and said the policy didn’t cover the particular cause. The adjuster said she didn’t have the policy in front of her and “oops sorry “. My friend said he was NEVER told of this exclusion. Poor business and the employee needs to read before giving an ok for a procedure or euthanizing an animal.
