Lashes by Ann has been an amazing to me since 2020. They were the place where I got my very FIRST lash extensions, and I've never been anywhere else since. What a phenomenal experience I had at this lash boutique. Thinh, the owner, was absolutely lovely. He was warm, kind, and effusive. My service with Lauren was done to perfection. I'm in Houston for work and hadn't been able to get my results fill at home due to my lash artist being ill. My hotel found Lashes by Ann for me and the high ratings they gave are completely deserved. It's not the most glamorous place on the planet, but I was looking for competency, not a spa day. They fit me in on a Sunday, knowing I wouldn't be a regular, returning customer and treated me as though I was their best customer. My lashes are perfect, which is not a compliment I give out easily. Lauren immediately understood what I was looking for, and delivered exactly that: my lashes, but better. I'm not looking for the kind of eyelash that could kill a butterfly and I find that many lash places would like to push volume service on their customers. There was a humble and nurturing soul, Lauren, who delivered what I requested while I took the most necessary and satisfying nap. I would wholeheartedly recommend Lashes by Ann to anyone with high service expectations.
I've been going to lashes by Ann for the past couple months. Usually it's an enjoyable, peaceful experience. I've had both Emily and Ann do my lashes and they always are perfect. This past time I had Mindy do my lashes and it was less enjoyable. She had the super bright light on which made it difficult to open my eyes in the beginning when the put the things underneath your eyes. Usually I don't even feel anything when my lashes are being done, but this time I felt lots of tugging and pinching. When I'm done they usually hand me a mirror so I can see the results didn't do that. Which I now know why, because my lashes were going a bunch of different directions, not evenly filled, and didn't follow lash line. Lastly, I experienced burning in my eyes after this last session. I could barely open my eyes and they were watering like crazy. I still would recommend lashes by Ann but either see Ann if Emily are amazing!
