I only give them 2 stars because the server was so nice. The place is just overpriced pizza that doesn't taste good at all anymore. The pizza was undercooked and bland. The place isn't the same since the change. Hopefully they go back to the way it was before.
I'm a Winter Texan from Chicagoland. So Pizza is in the eye of the beholder, I've been to Brick Fire twice 2021 and now 2023. It was unique the first time, but now they have changed. Now it's just another pizzeria. And I think the quality has lapsed since it changed. Service and ambiance fair.
This used to be a great place until recently when they changed their whole concept. Now you sit and order- no more picking your topping in front of you. It's not so much family friendly anymore, there's lots of bar games so it's great to go with friends for beer and a bite. We ordered seasoned fries and I expected them to be salted with season all or something yummy but they were the blandest fries you could ever taste. They weren't even salted with salt! We asked the server and she said she wasn't in the kitchen and didn't know how they were supposed to come out. So the chef came out and we asked what Seasoned Fries meant and he said seasoned with salt ok? We also got mozzarella sticks which were super good and the pizza was good too, same as before the changes. Seems too pricey for pizza that I could get anywhere now that they have turned into any other pizzeria.
