I went because I was showing signs of pre term labor and I was terrified considering it was too early for my baby. I went in at 2am and the staff in the ER were very nice and compassionate. In my room, the nurses were nothing but kind and answered my questions completely. I stayed for 2 days and the nurses were the absolute best I could ask for. I wasn't scared to ask questions and they were exceptionally friendly to me, and they never made me feel ignored. I can not thank the staff enough for their ability to be so compassionate and go above and beyond to help me understand everything I had questions about. Thank you to all the staff immensely, it's clear that they care about their patients.
Outstanding food and service in the cafeteria. The day I visited they were winning an award for best in quality across the hospital system. Based on the food and service the day I was there I can certainly see why they won.
My father was admitted to this hospital a week ago due to a serious infection. He's been ill for a couple decades. When my mom called to come quickly because he was fading and we needed to make end of life decisions, I became so touched by the compassionate and caring nursing staff. The doctors were never rushing, stopped and listened, and answered questions. Any time we needed a nurse, I'd pop my head out in the hall and someone would come. We were never left or ignored. As he neared the end, nursing staff would come by and see us and check on us, and leave us as we had to make those decisions. No one rushed us or made us feel like we weren't doing the right thing. I was especially moved by the expressions of faith by each staff person. It was incredibly comforting. I'd like to especially thank Chris, Sam, Marylou, Belle, Dora, Sarah and most of all June. Dear kind June who made those final moments so peaceful. It's been a hard week, but I'd recommend the care and compassion of this hospital from the security guards and front desk, housekeeping, gift shop, cafeteria staff, respiratory techs, but most of all the doctors and nurses who cared for my dad.
