I started out seeing a different gastroenterologist at UT because someone I trust recommended him, but then he quit right after he scheduled an upper endoscopy.  I went through with the endoscopy at UT because I wanted answers, but was told that it would be a couple of months before the other doctor at that office could work me in and that getting an appointment with anyone in that office is always difficult.  I started looking for a new gastroenterologist who might actually have time for me.  I've had very good doctors before who had bad reviews that were undeserved, so I don't usually pay too much attention when people are just griping about secretaries.Don't go...read full review

I'm really disappointed that the reviews are in fact accurate. I called to schedule an appointment for a new patient.... I was told go back where we came from....this office must not be confident or skilled enough to handle many patients so I would suggest just don't even waste your time. I have insurance also but the conversation didn't even last that long. I would suggest as a receptionist you gather as much Info as you can before suggesting people just go back where they came from...really disappointed.

RUDE receptionist. Basically, like Jessica said, the receptionist automatically thinks you cannot afford to come if you are self pay. Ended up arguing for 10 minutes with this lady before just saying forget it!
