Our home is 50 years old and has a large brick fireplace. It had a gas log installed when we moved in, but I wanted to go back to wood burning. We called Fireplaces & Stuff out to check over the chimney and fireplace. Unfortunately, our chimney was not serviceable for wood burning. The technician recommended a wood burning insert, but cautioned it would be expensive. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. About 6 months later, we had Fireplaces and Stuff install a Lopi Insert and it has been wonderful. Experience with fire place repair was excellent. The technician was good at communicating when he was arriving, and prompt. He was courteous and respectful. He was concerned about cleanliness and careful with the parts in the fireplace. He diagnosed the problems efficiently and came back w new parts to fix the gas pilot light and Valve. I will certainly call on them again for future needs.
