I understand we did a mistake by signing a contract before analyzing our situation economically and payed $1,000 to lock up a home. We called that same night and told them we would rather not continue since we notice we won’t be able to afford the home even though we did get approved 3 days later. They said we did get approved that same day but didn’t get informed. We wanted to see if they could refund the $1,000 back and said no in the rudest way possible. Yes I am mad because I can’t get my money back, but I think I’m more mad at how they spoke to me and how unprofessional they are. Specially the lady I spoke to Amy. Thank you for nothing.

We connected with Roger at View Homes in April of this year and after searching through numerous new build communities and comparing vs older/ establish homes, we decided to build through View Homes. The numerous amenities included surprised us (amazon drop box, work bench in garage, AC in garage, smart house, 2 ceiling fans, separate AC unit controls for the master, dog door, storage shelf installed in the garage, etc.) as many other companies we spoke to charged extra for these items. At a baseline, there are several floor plans and color palettes to choose from, and there are so many windows! Horrible build quality and awful customer service. Closed over 2 months ago and garage ac has not worked since and they still don't have it fixed. Upstairs ac keeps cooling down below what it is set for causing electric bill to be far more than it should be and they still haven't fixed it either. Cabinets are falling apart. House was left with trash in it from the builders. Was not cleaned at all. They really don't care about the buyer at all.Edit: it's been over a year and there are still items not fixed.
