I was a van owner op with High Country for a little over a year. Made really good money there. You book your own loads. Never had a problem with paychecks. The lady in safety is absolutely the best I have had in my 15 yr career. Recruiting and operations were all great. I left because the van rates went into the toilet. You will get great fuel discounts at the Ta/Petro as well. If you are a strong negotiator and runner,you can suceed there.

High country is now Armada and i just got started with them. It was going good tell they had me sign truck and trailer lease sight unseen me and 2 others picked up trucks and went to shop first thing the trucks we got are junk then after setting in shop getting it fixed went got trailer booked a load i was told i cant do load because Armada put freeze on truck and trailer ao i set all weekend put truck in shop today and trailer they had to fix truck again and replace brake and drums on trailer JUNK now i booked aload for tomorrow but i have to wait to make sure they do business with broker this place so far is a joke and the unprofessional attitudes is unreal. Been here for almost 5 years I will retire with this company.have been in the hopper division for more than 3 years the lady I work for is absolutely the best do not see myself making any changes and retiring in eight more years
