Both my sons attend K-Taekwondo and they enjoy it tremendously. Instructors are very friendly. My boys have learned discipline and hand/eye coordination. They are able to work on individual skills as well as team skills.
Great place, awesome people. Highly recommend. My son started when he was 5 and I was really worried how he would do with his attention span and listening to instruction. He’s 6 now, and the change is night and day compared to when he first started. He has way more self control and knows the importance of working hard to achieve his goals. The attention each kid gets is great with the instructors and they have so much fun while learning skills that carryover as they grow up.
My son is 7 years old and autistic, we first brought him to K-Taekwondo when he was 6 years old. Initially, we started him at K-Taekwondo to help him with coordination, motor skills, muscle memory based on repetitive actions which can help reduce stimming. K-Taekwondo has helped tremendously in all those areas, also in addition, K-Taekwondo has also helped my son come out of his shell, be more focused on a task, he now sets up goals for himself to reach and he is a lot more sociable with kids. The Masters (staff) there are great with the kids, as well as the black belt students who volunteer -and are very respectful as well. We love it at K-Taekwondo!
