“My son is 3.5yrs old and autistic. Sometimes he has a hard time with haircuts, making it quite stressful for everyone involved. I’ve been to several other hair salons in the area, and none of them have been as kind and patient as Curly and Spikey. The owner, Akila, was amazing. She made sure my son was comfortable throughout the haircut, relieved my stress, and gave my son a great haircut ( very impressive with how much of a wiggle worm he is)! Thank you so much Akila, for your patience and kindness towards my son. “What a great experience!Went to their competitor Boardroom in Southlake first to see if they would take a walk-in for a 10am opening. She said yes but immediately followed that with “let me see if our stylist is willing to take you”! I stopped her from going back and said you’ve already answer my first question so I’m good. Took a brochure, walked out and thought surely there are businesses who still value customers.After leaving I found Eighteeneight in Keller and what a huge difference. As I called the location it was night and day difference in how to value and communicate with a new customer. They brought me immediately and then I met Tameca Mills, my stylist, who was absolutely fantastic. The location was friendly, valued my business as a walk-in and treated me like an old friend.
