This is an excellent place for veterinary care. We recently adopted a sweet dog, a young Coon Hound mix, from the Dallas Rescue Shelter. She's just the sweetest dog you could ever imagine. She had been fixed, shipped and well cared for. The papers showed shed been treated for heartworms (horrible disease for poor pupper's) and that we would need to care for her for a while until the medicines worked. That meant low energy and that was difficult. (see a YouTube video o this terrible infection and you'll understand) We did and were supposed to do a follow-up with a vet at the end of a month. We did. Sadly, the test showed she still had heartworms. She acted okay but the test showed positive. So, we did agree to have he treated again. It's a tough program for them, as, if you do watch a video of it, will understand. This was the closest vet that we felt like we could trust. The program is expensive, but, if you research it, will find their prices reasonable. We are proceeding with the program and one of the reasons was a tch by the name of Caleb. This kid (sorry Caleb, but all young people are kids at my age so it's no disrespect) genuinely cares about your pet. They are not fur babies. They are loving animals that you soon lose your heart to. You want them to be treated kindly and with care. Caleb is a genuine pro. He understood our girl and was full of kindness and knew what kind of good girl she was. Dogs know good from bad people. Our girl immediately took to Caleb and didn't flinch during the injection for the anti-heartworm medicine. He explained in detail what care we needed to do with her. Kindness flowed from him. The actual doctor was involved very little as Caleb had done the "grunt work" so he could spend more time with actual medicine and care involved in your pet's needs. So, if your critter needs help, this is the place to go. It's clean, it's full of care and they offer discounted vaccinations for your pets on Sundays. I highly recommend this care facility for all your animal's needs. A most sincere thanks to Caleb and the staff!
