I have had a CPAP through a different sleep therapist for several years and it didn't seem to do much good. Now, after another sleep study through a different doctor and issuance of a Apria device, I am getting much better sleep. I have only been using it for @ a week, and, already I have felt the difference in the quality of my sleep....I am actually feeling more rested!
I had a great experience with Apria Health! The communication was excellent, and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Placing my order was smooth and easy, and everyone I interacted with was kind and professional.
People there are nice enough but it is extremely difficult to just purchase a CPAP machine. It took mulitple phone calls, talking to multiple people, all of whom insisted that they only allow you to "rent to own". Someone finally allowed me to place an order but told me that I would be sorry when my insurance company declined to pay. Guess what, my insurance company paid 100% of the cost of the machine.
Once you have a machine they have an online portal for ordering supplies but will not allow you to sign into the portal until you place an order by phone first. What year is this?
Overall, if they weren't 'in-network' with UHC I'd never deal with them again.
