The results were less than I expected. One eye was great and the other eye came out blurry. I was expecting to totally eliminate the possibility of wearing glasses in the future. I knew I would have to wear readers and that's not any problem with me. It's the results of seeing at a distance.

So far so good Doctor Hu is a Golden God Flew out from San Francisco a few weeks ago to get an evaluation after my HMO in California told me there were no lenses available to correct vision and that they could only take out my injury induced cataract. In addition because of the shape of my eye no corrective lenses were available as I was football shaped instead of basketball shaped My dad said no way that's BS come out and have Texas Eye Institute evaluate My first appointment lasted three hours while they evaluated my condition and put me through every test imaginable. Always a positive experience. Been a patient for a number of years and have always had a good experience. Dr. Ranelle put implants in both eyes 12 years ago and everything went well and I experienced no problem. He's a great doctor but unfortunately he did retire. Dr. Hu is my new doctor and he's great also. Dr. Head next door does my annuals and he's the best Optometrist I've ever had. This place does get pretty busy and a wait is almost always going to happen. No problem here, I don't want a doctor in a hurry. Place is always well maintained and clean. All the staff and front desk are always nice. I like it.
