My go to in Houston. She is hip so she knows most of the latest men style and trends. Only $10 for a cut and $15 with wash. Regardless of what I get I usually tip her well because I enjoy her service and skills.

Wendy has been my barber for a while, she's good and very friendly, I would recommend her to all my friends. The place closed down but she relocated to the back salon within walking distance. Her phone is 713-444-2092. I believe the new place is called Golden Salon, she rents space and is available on certain hours or by appointment.

The style I have in my profile pic here is courtesy of Wendy's! I've been coming here for my cut for 10 years. I've lived in Waco for the last 3 of those, and part of my trip when I come to Houston to visit friends periodically is a stop at Wendy's. I usually have a favorite stylist. Before he returned to China, it was a man who gave the most amazing scalp massages with the shampoo I have ever experienced. I would have gladly paid $15 just for that. I won't tell who my favorite is now...but all of the current stylists do a great job. I'm not a fan of chatting during my cuts, so I actually prefer the language-barrier that exists. Nonetheless, the staff is friendly and courteous with whatever communication we have. And everyone always seems to be having a good time.
