Shaw's Tattoo Studio is a clean establishment that plays oldies R&B music. Artists are professional and willing to work with customers to create their desired tattoo. The studio provides both verbal and written aftercare instructions. While customers generally report positive experiences with the quality of work and cleanliness, some have raised concerns about payment methods and unprofessional behavior from staff members.
I am very pleased with the results of my new tattoo. I walked in on Halloween really looking for a piece that I have had in mind for a long time. I was greeted promptly and after looking at the flash and talking with the artist we agreed on the work to be done. I was really expecting to be asked to make an appointment for a later time, but I was able to get my new work done professionally and cleanly. The shop was very clean with oldies R&B playing in the background. Once the tattoo was completed I was given the aftercare instructions verbally and in writing. When the healing process is done I will update this review with photos. I will definitely consider Shaw's if I have additional work I want done. For a first tattoo I recommend you check them out.
Came here in 2004ish.I wanted “sexy” eyeballs on my lower back. The gentleman refused.I went back and got something else.It still looks amazing. THANK YOU.For not doing the first one.
Positive: studio was clean, courteous staff and like my tattoo. Unsure: once I was done they advised I needed to get cash from store next door instead of taking Visa which I had confirmed. I did it but seemed sketchy. Negative: a staff member followed me out to my car and proceeded to ask for my number. Although it was flattering it was not professional and scared me that he followed me down the street. Summary: I had planned to return but not sure I will now.
