My first time was perfect because I got my hair braided by the owner .
I shaved my head again and grew my hair out by myself , due to people that's not from the US ,pulling my hair out. So i have been doing my own box braids for a year myself.
One month in April 2023 , I was tired and needed some cornrolls so I came back to MImi hair braiding shop.
These random lady's that was in the shop working that day I went in were careless and braided my hair tight .
I thought the pain would go away after 3 weeks ...Smh no
I was in pain for a whole month , I took my braids out and I have a bold spot in the back of my hair , thin hair .

Mimi is the best braider but service is hit or miss. Kinda pricey but that just means I need to make more money. I made an appointment and Mimi was late which was ok with me stuff happens but then two walk ins came in and left before me. I was just getting my edges re braided. It shouldn’t have took like 4 hours. I got there at 9 didn’t leave till after 12… Appts should come before walk in’s otherwise I’d walk in. I make an appointment to AVOID any waiting.
I had a personal braider that I cut ties with the day before I needed my hair done so I was running around like a chicken with my head cut off. I ran into this place via Google search & I absolutely love this place! It's officially my new braid shop. The atmosphere is amazing & I forgot what it was like to be in a shop! You will Definitely get a good laugh & enjoy your time here. It's my First time here & I felt like I've been here a million times. They welcomed me with open arms & I absolutely love the owner Mimi & her workers ! They will definitely take care of you! I absolutely love my hair. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
