Great Barbershop to go to. The Barber Tim is very knowledgeable on your hair and he also take his time with each and everyone of his clients (men, women, and kids). His prices are reasonable and it appointment only so you don't have to worry about being there all day. If your appointment is at 1pm best believe you will be seen at 1 or no later then 1:10.

Don't even bother thinking about Super Cuts. This place is the only place you should be getting your haircuts from. Why bother paying over $50 for some bs haircut anywhere else???? Tim does student discounts for all UH/TSU students, and even without a discount you're paying about $16 for the best haircut you'll ever have!!! They take online appointments so just make your appointment online and show up on time. Just let Tim do the work, he will get you right.

Awesome salon! Janice has been doing my hair for 20 years. She and brother Shampu Have continued to operate the salon in the professional manner that her mother started eight years ago. The atmosphere is friendly and clean. Not gossipy so I made it to the shops can be. Profanity and other bad behavior is not tolerated. Janice's workmanship is unparalleled. She specializes healthy African-American hair. Shampu is magical with his clippers. You will NOT see trendy ratchet hair emerging from this salon nor will you see clients backed-up and overbooked waiting for hours to be serviced. These two care about your hair and you. All of these characteristics demonstrate why I have patronized this salon for over 2 decades.
