Dr. LoMonaco's plastic surgery practice is focused on breast and body contouring procedures, with a particular emphasis on post-bariatric surgery reconstruction. His office is conveniently located near the Webster Medical Center, providing both accessibility and privacy for his patients. Dr. LoMonaco holds staff privileges at several local hospitals and private surgery centers, and is a member of both regional and national medical societies. Patients praise Dr. LoMonaco's excellent skills, professionalism, and safe practices. One patient, who underwent a mini-tummy tuck and breast lift with implant exchange, was highly satisfied with the results. The patient's c-section scar was successfully removed, and the remaining scar is barely visible due to the patient's diligent adherence to Dr. LoMonaco's instructions and use of Embrace tape during the healing process. Additionally, the patient's tummy tuck scar is hardly noticeable, with impressive results. During the breast lift and implant exchange, Dr. LoMonaco also performed a nipple reconstruction due to a birth defect, and the patient regained full sensation. Another patient, a 57-year-old woman, confidently states that she now has 20-year-old breasts following her procedures with Dr. LoMonaco. The patient highly recommends Dr. LoMonaco to anyone considering surgery, noting that he uses the Methodist Hospital in Nassau Bay, where the patient's hospital stay was outstanding. The patient prefers to stay overnight and pay extra for professional care during the healing process, rather than burdening others. Patients emphasize that Dr. LoMonaco is a great doctor who listens, prioritizes their health and well-being, and is dedicated to providing exceptional care. Even in the rare event of a complication, such as internal bleeding after a breast augmentation, Dr. LoMonaco responded promptly, took the patient's concerns seriously, and ensured immediate surgical intervention to resolve the issue. Patients feel safe and cared for under Dr. LoMonaco's expertise, and are grateful for his commitment to their successful outcomes.
I had a bracioplasty (arm lift) in Jan. Really happy with my results. I had no complications. I've never had any other elective/plastic surgery so I was extremely nervous but he made me feel comfortable. The surgery center he used was nice, very clean and quiet.
I have never had surgery before. I have been wanting to get a boob job for over 5 years after having 2 kids. I spoke with several surgeons in the Houston area. When I walked into Dr. LoMonaco’s office and met with him for a consultation, he gave me his undivided attention allowed me to try on different sizes with different tops. Answered all of my questions and was completely honest with me. There was no rush and he made me feel comfortable. After several visits with other surgeons I knew immediately, I trusted him and would be going with him. I felt safe with him and that was my main priority. He got me set up with my surgery and always answered my calls and I have a lot of anxiety so it was extremely important for me to feel at ease, which he made me feel. I went in for surgery knowing all the risks, unfortunately I did have a complication that is very rare in getting breast augmentation and a few hours after surgery my left boob started swelling and I was intense pain. We reached out to Dr. LoMonaco and he had us send pics and told us to head back up to the surgical center and called his staff back in even after hours. I had to go into surgery again due to internal bleeding on my left boob (again very rare) but he got me back into surgery immediately and fixed me up. I am extremely grateful for how he took my concerns serious and made me a priority. The internal bleeding was nothing on his end that he caused or anything on my end. With any surgery comes risks due to every body and anatomy being different. The great doctors are the ones who fix the problem when the problem arises. What makes a great doctor in my opinion is one who listens, and makes you and your life and health a priority. Had it been someone else, I could have just been told to go to the ER or just wait it out which could have cost me my life. Which I have seen happen with other surgeons. I rarely leave reviews, but I felt the need to leave one for him. I was terrified and in so much pain heading back up to the surgical center. As soon as I got there him and his staff put me at ease relieved my pain and fixed the internal bleeding. They were not annoyed for the inconvenience but the treated me with respect and cared enough to stay and get me better. I wasn’t just another dollar sign, I was a patient, his patient and he took the responsibility to treat me as his own and I have never felt safer with any other doctor. I highly recommend him for any procedures you want done. When something goes wrong, and that doctor makes it his mission to fix it, is what makes not only a great doctor but a great man. I’m eternally grateful for him. He’s worth every penny. I am extremely thankful and happy with my results.
