Nelida and her staff have been cutting our families hair since I was 16. Always friendly and always caring. I cannot imagine any other place id ever go.
I do want to make a special note to all that want to try this place for the first time. While she goes a great job on most cuts, to truly get an amazing cut you need to communicate what you you want your hair to look like. They will give you feedback as to what looks good for you if you ask. Sometimes this means getting something different and that sometimes takes a few tries. They take a great deal of care and that's what I appreciate.
Florida is a wonderful salon. You'll have professional services of great quality at reasonable prices here. I can't say enough about the owner, Nelida. She has styled our family's hair from age 2 to age 95. She's the best!
I am 40 and Nelida has been cutting my curly hair since my early 20s. She is one of few ppl who knows how to cut all tyoes of curls. My entire family has gone to her and we each have a different beautiful curl. I would recommend her always. She is kind, listens and produces what you ask for each time. Her craft is the only one that makes my hair grow back faster. Not every person can do that. Our hair is like plants, if one has a green thumb they are flourishing.
