Deuces Barbershop is my new hairstyling home, ever since Lexx and her magical hair skills set up shop here! As always, starting with the barber and the haircut. I've been going to Lexx for over ~3.5 years now and she has never failed to give me the exact cut I want. Lexx is excellent at working with whatever instructions or details you give her. If you ask for a specific kind of fade or undercut, length of hair, or unique style, she can definitely get it done. She keeps her station and her equipment always clean and everything always looks well-kept when I visit. Whenever I get my hair cut and styled by Lexx, I always end up exiting the barbershop looking amazing and feeling even better! The best part about all of this is that Lexx is also really great with being flexible in terms of scheduling, as you can usually book an appointment with her most days of the week and even weekends! With such an odd personal schedule I follow, it's great knowing I have someone who can accommodate my odd time requests. Lexx is amazing at something fairly rare for any barber to do that I've met and asked to try, and that's line designs in your hair. She absolutely *kills it* in line designs. If you can describe the design to her, she's usually able to pull it off, and if you have pictures of the line designs you want, she'll definitely nail it. I've even asked her to combine some line designs before based on pictures, and she was able to do it exactly how I wanted. She'll even go to great lengths to clean up the lines and detail them with a razer blade, just to make sure your lines are crisp, clean, and looking fresh. Her line designs never fail to catch the attention of anyone I see after I get her to style me up, and I've had numerous people ask where they can get some clean line work done in their hair, and I can only ever recommend the homegirl Lexx for that. Let's talk about the actual barbershop. You enter in from Beverly Glen Dr. on the ground floor, where you pass their huge street-side viewing window. Inside, the receptionist's counter is set up to the left, with hair-washing stations on the back left and a typical barbershop layout with chairs circling the walls of the room. The barbershop is both well-lit and extremely clean, with some neon lights and colored decor fitting of Beverly Hills and more akin to a normal hair salon. The entire shop, from the furniture to the equipment to the mirrors and window, were all extremely clean, essentially spotless from what I could observe. Plenty of free 1hr and 2hr parking for the shop can be found in the residential streets around the area, but make sure to obey the street signs, they're different depending on which street you park on. Definitely the best person to get your hair cut by is Lexx! Even if I live all the way in the border of LA and the OC, I'll make my way out here solely because of how great Lexx is at styling hair, and how clean and nice this barbershop is. I will always recommend it to anyone!

I've been a client of Lexx for nearly four years already and let me tell y'all, she's the real deal!. It goes without saying that Lexx is talented, personable, and accommodating. But the key skill that drew me to Lex in the first place is how well she knows how to work with Asian hair. And it helps that she's... well...Asian! :-p The shop itself is clean and inviting, with a very laid back vibe that harkens back to the early days of barbershops. Before my time of course! Highly recommended (air horn noise)!

Pedro gives a fantastic cut. Been coming here for the last year or so. I had tried a few different barbers after my previous one moved out of town, and Pedro is a step above the rest. Listens to what I'm looking for and does a meticulous job. And the shop is very comfortable - can always catch a game that's on. Also feel very safe with how they handle covid protocols. Definitely recommend!
