I went to this clinic 2-3 times last year. The staff and NP who saw me were great on both occasions. They listened, didn't try to rush the appointment, and the rates were pretty good. This place is right off 1960 so it's really accessible with ample parking. There's a bus stop next to the building if you ride Metro, too.

Champions is the best urgent care center!! Overlook the old, run-down building, and the not-so wonderful area it's in. Never mind all that. This is where to go to get real care.

When you have been sick for going on two weeks and coughing up phlegm, you want to get medication and start to feel better, so that is what led me to here.After spending 10 mins or so filling in information, I was taken into the back when temperature, blood pressure, etc was taken. I then spent the next 40 mins or so waiting to be seen.When the doctor did come in, he honestly was in the room somewhere between 1-2 mins where he listened with his stethoscope, looked at my throat and asked the occasional question or two. Afterwords he prescribed medication and that was it.For those of you that are reading this and happen to be on the heavy side, the chairs in the lobby are gonna suck on your side's.
