My mother had a huge procedure and was bedridden for over a month. Her hair was extremely matted to her head. I was in contact with Umar and he thoroughly explained the process of how to treat my mother’s hair and answered any and all questions. Umar has been a blessing to our family from this session he made my mom feel human again. He was very patient and calm throughout. Also this was all with travel and in a hospital setting. Thank you Umar for taking care of my mom, we are forever grateful for you!

Well it's been about 12 years now and I am still following Umar wherever he goes. My loyalty to him will NEVER waver just my like my confidence in him. Umar is not only extremely experienced, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic but he truly goes the extra mile to protect my hair. He stays on top of all the latest products and trends and he is always seeking out new knowledge and techniques. I feel so fortunate to have found this great stylist who truly listens and genuinely cares about the top notch services he provides. I'm updating my review to show his current space at Salon Lofts which is bright, immaculate, and comfortable. Every time I cross paths with another one of his clients, we're 100% in agreement that we're some incredibly lucky people with some excellent hair!

I recently moved to Houston and boy did I get lucky when it came to finding the right hair salon. Umar is simply one of the best hair experts I know. He is not just great at what he does but is genuinely thoughtful and considerate. He doesn’t whip through a haircut or a treatment but will take that extra time and effort to make adjustments based on your needs. He is absolutely fantastic and saved my hair from total ruin. I will always be grateful for his genuine advice throughout a difficult detangling procedure I underwent under his expertise.
