As'sallam Alaikum i have been an active member of this community since 2018 . We're a FAMILY. We cook and feed the neighborhood EVERY SUNDAY @ 1PM RAIN SLEET OR SNOW AND OF COURSE INTENSE HOUSTON HEAT ?.
we offer AA , CA, ANGER MANAGEMENT ALL FROM AN ISLAMIC BACKGROUND.
WE'RE SMALL IN NUMBER BUT OUR STRENGTH COMES FROM ALLAH SWT.
JUMAH IS 1:30-2PM EVERY FRIDAY.
WE HAVE EVERY COLOR AND ETHNICITY IN OUR CONGREGATION.
Come join us or just come and visit and volunteer .
We are putting Neighbor in NEIGHBORHOOD.
As Salaam Alaikum... This Masjid is a small center however, their heart is so big! They feed the 5th Ward neighborhood every Sunday at 1p, they offer CA classes (Cocaine Anonymous), Anger Management, Friday Jumah and Taleem every Sat & Sun at 11:30a. We love visiting this community and cant wait to move to Houston.
5th Ward Islamic Center for Human Development is an excellent center. The congregation cares deeply about each other and the community at large. The center offers social service programs and support to people of all backgrounds. Jumah services are Fridays at 1:30.
