5th Ward Islamic Center For Human Developement has been with open arms since my arrival. Being released from prison a year ago they have aided and facilitated me in navigating back into society, while helping to nourish my growth in the Dīn; All the while making you feel like your family.

Kind friendly environment to come get help with substance abuse and faith. Free hot meal on Sunday at 1pm and shoes and clothing donation to help with self esteem and job placement.

Brother James had the vision to bring love and reform to the 5th ward area and going 8 years strong.
