Houston Area Live Steamers offers a fun and magical experience for all ages. Visitors can enjoy a 12-15 minute train ride, approximately one mile in length, without reservations. The train is often pulled by a steam engine, and specially designed cars cater to the young and young at heart. The venue is beautifully decorated for holidays like Halloween, adding to the excitement. Volunteers create a welcoming atmosphere, making it an ideal outing for families to create lasting memories. It is recommended to arrive early, as the location opens at 9 AM and the average wait time can be around an hour. Strollers are not allowed inside the lines, so bringing snacks for children is a good idea. The ride offers an amazing journey through the forest, which is uniquely decorated, and parking is easy. Donations are welcome, and the staff is known for being nice and professional, enhancing the overall experience. The event runs every third Saturday and is loved for its family-friendly attractions. Restrooms are kept as clean as possible.
Awesome little gem tucked away just off the highway. This is located next to zube park. It is a facility dedicated to the scale model trains and train enthusiast but you don't have to be an enthusiast to enjoy it.

This is an awesome thing to do for everyone. The club members are passionate about trains and railroad lore. Everyone is welcoming, helpful and willing to share their knowledge about the facility and the trains.

Our experience with the kids was absolutely delightful, and even as adults, we felt like we were on a thrilling adventure, reminiscent of a toy train ride. The kids' creativity shone through in the wild scenery and bridges they built along the way, and we all had an amazing time. The staff were particularly cooperative and friendly.
We had a great time. The members of the club were very friendly and the trains were really neat. The train ride itself was about 15-20 minutes long. The line moved quickly, but I would be prepared to wait for a little while. The platform is shaded, with restrooms and a small concession/ souvenir area. Littles may get hot and the train ride may be a little sunny during the summer. We went on a cooler fall day though so it was perfect for us.
