Well where do I begin.. my mom passed 2-9-21 right before the freeze and as well when they were changing management. We had gotten 2 plots where we were told we could get upright headstones.. due to the freeze the only positive thing was that they changed our date…on the week of my moms funeral i believe 2 days before it they called my brother telling us we either had move where my mom is being buried because it’s no longer upright headstones in that area.. we denied because we had already to many things to stress over and it had been 3 weeks since my moms passing and we really wanted just to lay her to rest..Debrah did great everything at the funeral went well. Here’s where EVERYONE NEEDS BE CAREFUL! The HEADSTONE… OMG I HAVE CALLED CORPORATE AND THEY HAVENT DONE ANYTHING ON THIS ISSUE WE ARE AT THE POINT OF WALKING AWAY.. First we were told we would have to settle for a flat unless we wanted to open the ground and unbury my mom to move her to get the the upright.. TALK ABOUT INSENSITIVE to me and my family the other option was dumb to bury my dad at the foot of My mom so we can have a 2 way upright or basically buy another plot.. talk about money hungry.. OH AND WE DID SETTLE I WENT TO SEE THE DRAWINGS NOT WHAT I ASKED AND THE MARBLE WAS WRONG AND WE HAD PAID EXTRA FOR A CERTAIN ONE HAD I NOT CAUGHT IT AT THE TIME WE WOULD OF GOTTEN WHAT THEY WANTED NOT WHAT WE ASKED FOR! 7 months later now my mom has no stone nor marker and you have to eyeball were she was buried not mention now they have offered us a ledger since our stone has not been finalized but they are so money hungry they will probably try to charge us more we have spent about 20,000+ And yet they won’t give us the headstone we want or give my her proper marker .. we have yet to see what they say about the ledger DO NOT BUY HEADSTONES AT STERLING GO ACROSS THE STREET TO S.E HEADSTONES WAY BETTER PRICING AND KNOWLEDGE ABOUT WHAT YOUR GETTING THE GIRL THERE IS AMAZING. DONT FEED INTO STERLING LIES ABOUT THEIR HEADSTONES. Horrible management!

They sold us 2 plots that had already been sold to someone else. It’s strictly about the almighty dollar with them. Wouldn’t recommend.

Dechele Smith was our director, she was a God send to my sister and I. Making funeral arrangements are so overwhelmingly emotional to begin with, but Dechele saw to it that we were well cared for. She went over and beyond taking care of our every need. My father's service was beautiful and handled so lovingly. The intermittent was just as lovely, and the part of having my sister and I sprinkle rose petals in the grave to lay him on just added so much more to it. I will always be grateful to Dechele Smith and also to Brenda that handled all the grave opening and closing documents. They both are very caring individuals. May God bless each of you.
