David at Rodriguez Martial Arts is so much more than a coach, but I would argue that he is a wonderful mentor for my two sons. He is a patient teacher and a huge encourager to all the kids in the class. My boys truly look up to him and always feel safe during class when they are sparring in jiu jitsu. He keeps a close eye on everyone as they kids are learning new moves. My sons have grown so much this past year and a half. They are respectful, great listeners, and confident in who God has made them to be. Thank you RMA for all you've poured into my sons! We absolutely love this family-friendly business and highly recommend it to anyone considering jiu jitsu!
There are so many positive things I could say about this gym, about the Rodriguez brothers, about our experience there! Our daughter (age 7) started attending BJJ classes approx 6 months ago. She has made massive improvements in confidence, skill & technique which I attribute mostly to the positive environment that coach David creates each day. He has been incredibly patient as she had to cross over some hurdles getting started and you can really tell he cares so deeply for the children & their success. Excellent school. My kids have been doing Taekwondo and Jujitsu for over a year and half now and love it. Great family run studio. Mr Richie and Mr David are exceptional with the kids. They also have great helpers that know their stuff and love on the kids. Shout out to Miss Zoey!
