“I'm sure I'm at the 10 year mark at dr. Moores office maybe less time but it's close to 10. I have a huge fear of dentist I was in the military and had horrible things happen to my teeth. Plus as a kid I was always getting my teeth pulled multiple at a time. I remember the day I had something happen and had to call Melissa at the office. The first thing out of her mouth we will never judge you and he will listen to anything you have concerns with. That was almost 10 years ago. Not only do I go every 6 months for teeth cleaning and my occasional cavity my children have been since they were little. None of them have the fear of the dentist and I think Dr. Moore and his whole staff for that. My daughter had s traumatic experience before seeing Dr Moore with a dentist. It did take them time to gain her trust but fast forward she is 13 with no issues going every 6 months for cleanings. I highly recommend this office for not only an amazing staff but people who just genuinely care about you as a person. ?“

Yesterday my braces were removed, and I feel great! -inside and out.

So I don’t lose you in my lengthy story below, here’s the bottom line. YOU’RE NEVER TOO OLD FOR BRACES! I’ll be 66 in August 2025, and so happy to see my new smile and know my overall health will benefit too.

Now my story:

Since I was a teenager, my smile has bothered me. My family could only afford one kid to get braces, and my teeth were better at that time. Everyone around me had beautiful smiles and I’ve been self-conscious for decades. Years went by and my teeth crowding got worse, making my smile more of an issue, plus I saw the risk of losing important teeth was becoming real.

Then one day after a routine cleaning at Just For Grins, Dr. Jonathan convinced me I’m not too old for braces, and those would really help both oral health and smile.

From there, Tawsha and Dr. Elisa got me started with the braces explaining all the options.

Braces went on in Oct 2023 and removed July 23, 2025. Dr. Elisa and the entire Ortho Team were great throughout every step! They’re off now, and I absolutely love my new smile for the first time in 50yrs!
