About Legacy Martial Arts
Legacy Martial Arts, formerly known as Hamm's Martial Arts, has been serving the Greater Killeen area for over 15 years. The business focuses on creating a safe, structured environment for students to learn from instructors they love, while being pushed to reach new levels in their physical, mental, and emotional abilities. They inspire others to reach their highest potential and become leaders in the community through Martial Arts. The facilities are good and clean, although they may need to get a bigger place or have another time in the week as they have grown in size. The staff is really great and patient, even with the kids that can't act right. The students are engaged from start to finish. Many students have seen significant growth, both on and off the mats, developing discipline, confidence, focus, and respect. At Legacy, students are treated like family, and the program is highly recommended for its positive impact on the lives of its participants.

My son started with Legacy almost 4 years ago and we could not have made a better choice! We have seen so much growth in him both on and off the mats - he has developed discipline, confidence, focus and respect. The skills he has learned/is still learning also translate to life off the mats and are helping him grow into a better person. At Legacy, you are family! I would highly recommend Legacy Martial Arts!

The instructors are amazing, the front desk team are just as incredible (if not better, sorry Mr. Davis). Not only do they teach your kids self defense, resistance and cool moves, they also remind them that school, your parents and your family and friends are to be valued and respected at all times. They pushed my introverted son right out of his shell to try new things and not to be afraid to protect hisself, when needed. He’s only been in martial arts for 5 months and within those 5 months he’s already competed...read full review
