I came to see Dr. Kumar to examine me in order to determine whether or not I still have chronic migraines, as they would disqualify me from military service. He gave me the examination and wrote a well worded letter that addressed my needs and will greatly assist me in my ability to serve this nation in the USMC. The Doctor was even kind enough to give me $100 when he saw my pants were slightly undersized and stained so I can buy new ones. Dr Kumar takes a very deliberate approach to understanding individual needs, working with patients to create a long-term solution to mitigate symptoms. In today’s societal environment, Dr Kumar’s attention to understand these issues may appear to be untimely or insincere.
