Despite the updates, it remains a good place for a decent haircut at a reasonable price. The current owner is quiet but does a good job cutting hair, making it a reliable choice for those seeking a straightforward grooming experience. It is considered one of the better barber shops in town, especially for those who want a good haircut without much conversation. Connie and Vern sold the barber shop and it has changed pretty drastically. The wall hangings are gone, the couch is gone and is replaced with chairs, the carpet has been replaced with laminate flooring, and the dog is gone. The walls have been painted and it's much brighter there than it was before. The parking lot has been repaved and it thankfully lost all the potholes and has parking spaces painted on the asphalt. So it's much different than before.
