Overall, my time at The Salon Professional Academy was a good experience. It’s definitely an investment, but I learned a lot and got plenty of hands-on practice with real clients. The instructors were helpful and passionate, and I feel like I left with a solid foundation for my career. I gained a lot of confidence and experience.
Had an excellent experience here. Everyone is very nice and professional and it's interesting watching how they learn. My stylist Mau did a GREAT job and was very receptive to what I asked for.

I had allover color done by Angie, who is going to be a star!
She did great, and a totally acceptable amount of supervision was provided by one of her instructors, who helped us nail the right color for me, which was a Cherry Coke kind of color (it looks darker in my bathroom).
The instructor asked a most excellent question. When I was struggling to choose a color, she asked, “when you look in the mirror, do you want to see a redhead? Or a brunette with some red?”
