About Baylor Scott & White Clinic - Georgetown
Baylor Scott & White Clinic is highly regarded for its exceptional patient care and friendly staff. Patients praise the kindness and understanding of doctors, PAs, nurses, and office staff. The clinic is known for its cleanliness and has recently undergone a remodel, creating a more inviting atmosphere. Many patients highlight the excellent customer service and appreciate the comprehensive care provided, particularly for older patients. The location is convenient, and parking is easy to find, making visits hassle-free. While some experiences with wait times for labs, doctor visits, testing, and imaging can be frustrating, once seen by a healthcare provider, the professional care is excellent. The staff, including the front desk team, are professional and caring, with some staff going above and beyond to ensure a smooth process. Overall, the clinic is considered a hidden gem, with consistent positive experiences reported by long-term patients.
Moved to Georgetown three months ago and both my wife and I chose this facility for our primary care. Couldn't be happier! We have been seen by our PCMs, radiology, lab, and cardiology, as well as a referral to the nearby rehab clinic. All interactions positive. Staff are professional and caring, and scheduling appointments is a breeze.
My rating for the overall clinic is good because of the quality of professional care and my confidence that I am getting quality care even though the service aspect is challenging. Largest drawback is waiting for everything when it appears that staffing is appropriate to handle the volume of people waiting but some staff seem oblivious and don't help you. Long wait times for appointments for everything- labs, doctor visits, testing, imaging etc. Then you go in there in early afternoon and it's nearly empty but takes too long for everything even though you have an appointment. No reason when there are 6 check in stations and 2 have patients checking in that there are 3 people in line waiting for 10 minutes and same person processes all 3 - what? What could the other check in persons be doing??? However - once you are actually being seen by a health care provider, nurse, medical tech, phlebotomist or other technician the professional care is excellent. I tolerate the other annoying aspects because the care quality is very good. Also the location is convenient and it's not a huge facility where parking is a problem. I know healthcare has never recovered since Covid and the service aspect changed substantially because of how poorly workers were treated. But healthcare is a human service and that aspect needs to be foremost.
I've been a patient here for nine years now. I've experienced nothing but wonderful kindness and understanding from everyone: doctors, PAs, nurses and office staff alike. The campus is always spotlessly clean. I really appreciate all that goes into even one day's operations here.
