The Best Dance Instructor!! Don Made Our First Dance Unforgettable! We cannot say enough amazing things about Don! From our very first lesson, he made us feel comfortable, confident, and genuinely excited to dance together. His pricing was extremely reasonable, and he was so flexible with scheduling, which was a huge help during the chaos of wedding planning. Don was incredibly creative and thoughtful. He choreographed movements that worked with our height difference (my husband is 6’8” and I’m 5’6”) and still made everything look effortless and natural. On our wedding day, our dance was an absolute showstopper. There were gasps at the lift, applause during several of the moves, and so many compliments afterward. It was truly one of the highlights of the entire evening. Don’s teaching style is second to none—patient, fun, and easy to follow. We always left each lesson smiling, and by the big day, we felt completely ready!! We can’t recommend Don enough! If you want a first dance that feels natural, looks incredible, and wows your guests—he’s the one to call!
We highly recommend Volta Dance Studio! My husband I have been taking lessons at Volta for 7 months, and have really enjoyed our lessons. We take couples private lessons, and also participate in Friday Salsa, and couples group classes. Don Silvas is an amazing instructor. He is very knowledgeable, patient, funny, personable, and caring. He takes the time to find the right words to communicate with us the steps and technique, when he sees that we are struggling. He makes the lessons fun, and is never condescending. Don has been teaching us Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Two-Step, East Coast Swing. We are still a work in progress, and will continue to attend classes whenever possible.
We bought a dance package from Volta about 2 months before our wedding and attended classes twice a week. With our work schedules we were unable to practice outside of those two weekly classes. Despite that we were able to learn a great dance in a relatively short time and it turned out great on the big day! Don is a great teacher and fun to work with. Highly recommend this studio. We plan to take more classes just for fun.
