This place sucks. I changed my payment option from one bank account to another… for some reason, rather than waiting 2 additional days to make the direct deposit to the new account they MAILED my check… 🤦🏻‍♂️ Meanwhile about to lose everything. 3-5 business days and it’s Tuesday, the day my direct deposit would normally have hit. Will they send priority? Likely not. This is a dept DOGE should have just gotten rid of because it’s actually asinine they wasted taxpayer money like that.

The administrative hurdles at TWC are designed for failure rather than support. I experienced a denial of a claim based on a strict two-week filing window, despite facing legitimate health challenges during that period. The system’s logic that being able to perform basic life tasks means you are 'fit' to navigate their complex portal ignores the reality of medical recovery.

Furthermore, my experience with PIA and FOIA requests across state and federal levels shows a systemic disregard for transparency. I was denied benefits and have been calling repeatedly for multiple weeks, and have yet to get a response or a call back. They say their business hours are 7 am-6 pm, but from 7 to 8 am, their phones say they are closed. Terrible service.
