Since Dr Grant left it has been a dreadful experience. Staff is rude and even hateful at times. It’s a challenge finding a pain mngt doctor because you never know what your going to get. Will they be better or will they be even worse. At this point I’m not sure there is a worse in some aspects. Dr Tim Ratino informed me today that he and his staff cannot “afford” to be compassionate towards their patients. It’s the nature of the business. When I started going here about 10 years ago and Dr. Grant was the doctor, it was a great place. He truly cared about his patients and he took time to listen to concerns. Dr Ratino is great and seems caring. However, i have been in the worst pain in my like and have not been able to get a call back in a week. I guess they are tired of pain call (dont blame them) but this is horrific pain. I dont think he knows how his patients are treared. I will be looking for another pain physician. Not because of dr Ratino but, because of the staff and practitioner. I'm sorry dr ratino, a week in excruciating pain is not acceptable..UPDATE - I keep trying to talk to the providers about new symptoms and changes in my pain.. I HAVE NOT been able to see or talk to Dr. Ratino in over a year! All they ask is - 'are you still on (my meds) - we will...read full review
