Scheduled an inspection with Wesley and asked for the soonest appointment available. He let me book an appointment for today in the afternoon. Initially he would not provide an ETA, but I asked for a window letting him know I was an hour away from the RV. He said “3-4, but maybe before 3 and maybe a couple hours after 4”. Day of appointment at 12pm I messaged to check in and ask if he had a more defined idea of when he would be starting the inspection. He requested to move to the appointment to tomorrow and I let him know this was unfortunately not an option and that myself and the RV owner had made today available for him. He said maybe 6-7pm and I asked if he could...read full review
Schedule an appointment at your own risk. He will cancel without enough notice to secure a replacement. Additionally he was very condescending to my (adult) daughter saying he knew she didn't know anything about motors and wouldn't understand about delays when he looks under the hood. Her father is a mechanic and she has been working on cars with him since she was young.Women should be aware of his bias if working with him.
I used Dominator Mobile Installation to install a jump seat between the two captains chairs Of my 2016 Town and Country. I purchased the jump seat from CSO Radio, a company in Lakewood, NJ. The initial cost for the install was $290, which I feel was totally reasonable (inexpensive, even!) considering the installer came to my house and the job took him around 3 hours. However, we failed to notice until the installer left that the seatbelt was far too long, rendering it unusable, and they charged an additional $50 to come out and fix the problem. In retrospect, I should have sat in the seat and confirmed it was good to go before the installer left, but to me, the $290 price quote was to install a functioning jump seat and they should not have charged extra to get it working. It wasn't a completely smooth process to schedule the install, but everyone I spoke with was extremely friendly. Seems like a likable group of guys. I think my little project was probably just very small-potatoes compared to the other work they do and likely was given a place on the back burner. The billing was a bit of a hassle. I paid the invoices immediately upon receipt, sending the checks to the address listed on the invoice. The checks were cashed, but I've gotten multiple calls from their billing department telling me I have two past due invoices. I even called back and explained that the invoices were paid and checks cashed, but a week or two later I received another call about the invoices being past due. We are happy with the final product - the conversion of our 7 seater van into an 8 seater - but the difficulty of scheduling, the additional charge for the seatbelt, and the billing issues on the backend would lead me to at least peruse for another alternative before using DMI again.
